The Saint Peter Claver Extension Department (SPCCED) opened its doors to students in September 1999. This adult education program aims at providing quality education to citizens of Toledo and its surrounding who qualify for the program. The curriculum is designed to meet the needs of adult candidates and to offer quality adult education to students seventeen and over who need a second chance or who have never been to Hugh School. This is a three year program that issues a High School Equivalent Certificate. Students who have completed a Second Form at a regular High School will start in Second Year. Students who have successfully completed Third Form or dropped out of Fourth Form may enter in Third Year. | |

The new school year has
just been finally set in place. The teachers have not been paid
since last Nov 2004 and some were reluctant to come back as they
need the extra money. They are to be highly commended for their
dedication this past year. One alumni has decided to pay Derrick
Borladn, 3rd year computer teacher for this year so he will teach.
The teachers get $68.00 per credit hour so we appeal to the alumni
to "adopt a Teacher" and pay their stipend for at
least a year. Below you find a list of the teachers and the subjects
they teach. | |
